Local data security is top priority
Conventional email clients leave your data on the providers' servers – often for years. We believe: Your mailbox is not a warehouse for strangers.
BoMail PRO uses exclusively POP3/SMTP to bring your messages where they belong: onto your own hard drive. Once the email is with you, it disappears from the cloud. This removes your data from the reach of algorithms, data leaks at the provider, and state arbitrariness or surveillance.
BoMail PRO relies on a multi-layered local protection architecture. Even without full-disk encryption, your email databases remain secure.
All email databases are encrypted with AES-256. A copied database file is completely worthless without the personal key. Even more secure in the PRO version.
IntegratedWith 100,000 iterations, every brute-force attack is significantly more difficult. The key is never stored in plain text.
IntegratedEmail previews block external resources, tracking pixels, and disable JavaScript. Tracking pixels are marked with a warning in the inbox.
